The super baseball player was born Manuel Arturo Machado on July 6, 1992, in Hialeah, Florida and was brought up in Miami by his mother with the help of his uncle Geovanny Brito, who was like a father to him.

His interest in baseball began since he was a child who couldn’t even walk properly. More so, while his uncle was there to help him, his mother sometimes took him to watch games, and his grandfather was also a lover of baseball, so it could be said that he was raised to love the game.

Growing up, Manny’s biological father was in the picture, but they didn’t have any real father-son relationship, and it was Geovanny Brito who taught him everything while his mother provided for him.
