An ex-client of his named Shaha Mishaal Adham was initially arrested on the grounds of attempted murder but was later released due to lack of enough evidence. This ordeal was traumatic for the actor who was on set for the production of a movie and he had to quit in order to mourn his brother.

It is very unfortunate that the case is still an unsolved one and due justice has not been meted out to the culprit. Scott is said to be survived by his wife Luzelena Ruffalo and his step-daughter Lucinda.
