Moon Bloodgood is a model and actress who has made a name for herself thanks to her appearance in highly successful movies including Terminator Salvation as well as the TV series Falling Skies. Having started her career since the second part of the 1990s, Moon has done a lot of things both in the entertainment circle and beyond and in 2009, she was named the Korean Tourism Organization’s goodwill ambassador.

The model and actress was born Korinna Moon Bloodgood on September 20, 1975, in the United States, Alliance, Nebraska. Of Dutch, Irish, and Korean descent, she has an elder sister who was born in Korea where the family was before they moved to Nebraska where her father worked as a train engineer. After the family came back to the states, Moon’s father helped many of her mum’s family members to find jobs and so there was a time when they had as much as 11 people living in a single bedroom house. By the time she was two and a half, she moved to southern California where she was brought up. Apart from her sister, Moon also has a half brother from a different relationship her father had.

Even though she would come to be famous as an actress, she first began her career as a model and dancer. When she was 17, Moon made it among Los Angeles’ own Laker Girls. Before long, she was already touring with great stars including Brandu and . With the looks and personality to succeed as a model, she soon started getting modeling contracts with big cosmetic brands such as L’Oreal, and Avon.

By 2002, Moon Bloodgood was fortunate to land her first role as an actress in the TV series Just Shoot Me!. After that, she got episodes in Fastlane and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation both in 2003. Her first role in a movie came the next year when she got a role in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!.

Although she is married to Grady Hall, Moon has been in a few relationships in the past. Her first known relationship was with actor in 2004. The two got serious and even got engaged in 2005 but two years later, the engagement ended with them splitting.
