It was in Chicago that the actress was born on October 26, 1994. She was, however, brought up in Georgia together with her older brother. For her education, she went to Montessori schools. She later went to Decatur High School. After she graduated, she moved to The University of Chicago where surprisingly enough, she studied maths.

As regards her career as an actress, Morgan began in 2006 when she was given a voice role in two episodes of The Sopranos. Her role, however, was not credited. The next year, she got a role in an episode of K-Ville in which she portrayed Lana Roberts. It was until 2011, however, that she got her more serious role on TV when she played Dana Brody in the spy thriller television series, Homeland.

Following her great performance in the series which ran until 2013, she got two nominations for Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2013 and 2014 in the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Morgan Saylor made her film debut in 2009 when she was offered the role of Annie in Paul Weitz-directed dark fantasy film, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant. Next, she took the role of Young Claire in Father of Invention in 2010. The coming years saw her appear in a good number of other films including The Greening of Whitney Brown (2011), Jamie Marks Is Dead (2014), and McFarland, USA (2015). She recently appeared in Novitiate in 2017 as Sister Evelyn, We the Coyotes (2018) as Amanda, and Blow the Man Down (2019) as Mary Beth Connolly.

Not only did she start her career as a young girl on stage, but she has also appeared professionally in the theatre production of When We Were Young and Unafraid wherein she played the role of Penny; this was in 2014.

Family Facts

Saylor was born into a very small family with only a much older brother who works in a pub. Her father has been said to be a renovator for Starbucks. Her mother, on the other hand, is said to be a retailer at REI.

While there is not so much information about her private family life, it is known that her parents suffered a divorce.

Even though it is known that the young actress is yet to get married, it is known that she has been in relationships. Nonetheless, no name has been released as regards who she dated.

When she started out, she did most of her auditions for Disney. The problem was that even though she has always been a good actress, she is not a good singer. Nonetheless, she was still able to land her first job which was a voiceover for The Sopranos.
