Paige Tamada is an American actress who started off her career as an adorable and enchanting young lady. Paige has starred in a couple of TV series and films and is best known for her role as Judy the Elf in the 1994 American Christmas fantasy film, The Santa Clause.

Biography

The beautiful American actress was born Paige Yukiko Tamada on January 11, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, where she also grew up. Though there is little or no information available concerning Paige’s education, sources reveal that she attended French American school Lila in Santa Ana, California and the University of California, Berkeley where she studied English.

Paige Tamada was introduced to the entertainment industry at a very young age. She began her acting career at age six with a minor role as Jessie in the TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1991), and has gone on to play different roles in other TV series such as Eleanor in Evening Shade (1991 to 1995), as Marie in Full House (1992 to 1995), as Clara in Seinfeld (1996), as Tiffany in Tim Allen’s show Home Improvement (1993), and L.A. Fighters.

But she is most famous for the 1994 family comedy classic The Santa Clause, where she played the role of Judy the Elf, a character which remains one of the most iconic and memorable for the movie. The Santa Clause is a beloved holiday movie, premised on the tale of Santa and the North Pole. Its a simple story about a somewhat bitterly divorced man Scott Calvin () who finds himself unexpectedly becoming the new Santa when the last one had an accident at his house. When the real Santa falls off his roof and dies, Calvin adorns himself with the suit and takes over for Santa to ensure the holiday presents are delivered and eventually ends up at The North Pole, a colorful land of the elves where he is immediately welcomed as the new Santa. It is while stuck in Wonderland, a place that is built of pure fantasy that a little girl, Judy the Elf (Paige Tamada) arrives and serves as the host for the new Santa (Tim Allen). She comes bearing a legendary delicious hot chocolate with a special recipe that took her 1200 years to perfect. But her role is much more spectacular as she was able to convince Calvin (who stopped believing in Santa when he was a child) to believe in magic with her famous line “seeing isn’t believing, believing is seeing”. As expected, Calvin later accepted and fully embraced the idea.

After the holiday comedy which was Paige’s claim to fame, she starred in other movies portraying roles like the Child in Untamed Love (1994), The Kids in Mad City (1997), and Young May in Milo (1998). However, she hasn’t acted in anything since 1999 after portraying “Girlfriend #2” in an episode of Ally McBeal.

The Santa Clause was indeed a hit which grossed $144,833,357 in the U.S, and though we may not be certain of Tamada’s current worth, sources reveal that for her contributions to the industry in the 1990’s, the star actress with dark brown hair and eye colors has an estimated net worth of $1.3 million.
