Paris Jackson is a famous name is American showbiz and even beyond. She is a model, singer, actress, and celebrity in her own rights. She did not become famous, no, Paris was born famous! In case you still don’t get it, Paris Jackson is the only daughter of late music legend and ascribed king of pop, .

She was born on the 3rd of April 1998 in Beverly Hills, California as the second child of her parents, Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe. Her mother, Debbie is a nurse and was married to the pop icon, Michael Jackson for three years (between 1996 and 1999) before they were divorced.

Even though she is the only daughter of her parents, Paris is not the only child. The model and singer is sandwiched between two boys. Her older brother, who was born a year after she was, is Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. and her younger brother, who is a half-sibling as he was not her mother’s biological child is Prince Michael Blanket Jackson II. Confusing names, huh? You could, however, differentiate the two by calling the former ‘Joseph’ and the latter ‘Blanket’.

Paris and her older brother, Joseph was raised by their father after Debbie Rowe forfeited custody of the children to him. And giving the fact that he had his childhood ‘stolen’ from him (as he would always say), he made it a top priority to let his kids have as normal a childhood as they could get. His efforts to shield them from the press, media and public was so dire that he would wear them masks whenever they stepped out in the public.

As expected, she attended the Buckley School, which is a very exclusive school in Sherman Oaks, California alongside her brother and there, she participated in extra-curricular activities such as cheerleading while also playing softball.

One year after the death of her father, Paris (and her brothers) accepted a Grammy Award – Lifetime Achievement Award – on their fathers’ behalf at the 2010 Grammy Awards. They would also appear on ‘s show with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and they talked about what it meant to be raised as a Michael Jackson child and what it meant to have lost him.

Career

Paris Jackson has moved into showbiz just like her father. Her music career has seen her create a band called The Soundflowers and they had their first ever performance in June 2018 at Canyon Sessions. She wishes her dad stayed around for much longer to teach her his moonwalk tricks which he had promised to do before he met his death.

She was a part of the cast for the 2011 on-screen adaptation of the book Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys, written by Dennis Christen. It was meant to be a children’s fantasy film, however,  the film did not see the light of day. And that will not be the only time that a venture she got involved in will not see the light of day.

In 2013, the Jackson kids, together with their grandmother had decided to produce a documentary on the life of the late hip-hop star, Michael Jackson. The documentary was to be titled Remembering Michael and they had decided to raise the monies needed to prosecute the project through crowdfunding (an account was created on the FundAnything website). However, the idea backfired when it was realized that one was involved in the project. This got Michael’s fans very angry and no more funds were raised, which by extension meant that the documentary was shelved indefinitely.

People Magazine named Paris in their Most Beautiful list in 2012 and the model also graced the cover of an edition of the Rolling Stone magazine in 2017. The latest move opened her up to modeling opportunities and in March of the same year, she was signed on to IMG Models.

Paris also made her debut television appearance (guest role) on FOX TV drama series titled Star in the same month (March). Her debut in the big screen would come the following year, in 2018, when she played the role of Nelly in the crime drama, Gringo.

What is Paris Jackson’s Net Worth?

It is expected that Paris Jackson would have a net worth that would blow the mind being the only daughter of late Michael Jackson and of course, there is no disappointments. Paris has a net worth of $100 million as she inherited a huge estate from her father and still receives an allowance of about $8 million annually from the estate. But furthermore, she seems to have found her own footing in showbiz with both acting, ad campaigns, and modeling.

Family – Is She Michael Jackson’s Daughter? Mom

There have been controversies surrounding the three children that were born to the late pop star, Micheal Jackson and there are genuine reasons why it is so. The very obvious reason is the fact that all three of Michael’s children are white and when you add the fact that all three were born through artificial insemination, the plot begins to thicken. However, we have come to believe that Joseph, Paris and, Blanket were all sired by Michael Jackson and so, until prove otherwise with substantial evidence, there may be no reason to retain such doubts.

The late musical icon was first married to Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of showbiz parents Elvis and on May 26, 1994. She had just divorced her first husband, Danny Keough, 20 days earlier. However, two years into the union which produced no kids, they were divorced in 1996 which was when Michael met Debbie Rowe.

She was a dermatology nurse who worked at the clinic where the pop star had gone to treat vitiligo. He told her about his need to have kids and Debbie, who already had a crush on the superstar willingly submitted herself to help him have children. This was what resulted in their marriage in 1996 after she was confirmed pregnant. It was her second marriage, having been married in 1982 to Richard Edelman.

In February 1997, she put to bed a baby boy, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. and then Paris followed in 1998. Being a very private person, Debbie couldn’t cope with scrutiny and media attention her marriage to the icon brought her way and so they were divorced on October 8, 1999, with Debbie granting full custody of her kids to their father.

She has gone on record to say that her pregnancy was through artificial insemination, with everyone now wondering who the sperm donor was. Paris’ younger brother, Blanket Jackson was also born through a surrogate whose identity is not known till date.

In an unfortunate twist, Mark Lester (who was her godfather) claimed after the death of Michael Jackson that he is the father of Paris Jackson as he says he was the sperm donor for the pregnancy that bore her. He also said he was willing to do a DNA test to authenticate his claims. However, while the test does not seem to be in the plan anytime soon, observers have wondered about the sincerity of his claims by questioning the timing of his assertions.
