Peyton Kennedy may still be very young, but she has already made a name for herself as an actress. She started acting at the early age of 8 and by the time she was 9, she had already started gaining serious recognition and winning awards. Less than a decade into her career as an actress, Peyton has appeared in close to 20 films and TV shows including The Offering, Odd Squad, and Grey’s Anatomy. January 4, 2004, was the day Peyton Kennedy was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Details about her personal life which include her parents, siblings, education, and how she was brought up are all very sketchy. What is known, however, is that she was raised in her home country of Canada.

When she was growing up, she loved reading books so much and watching movies. One work that captured her attention and transformed her forever is Harry Potter. This is because it is what got her to fall in love with acting so much that all she dreamed from then on, was to be on the silver screen as an actress. She was only 6 at the time, and two years later, she was already an actress.

To prepare herself for this, the versatile and extremely talented actress attended the Canadian Model and Talent Convention where she learned a lot about acting and how the industry operates.

Her debut film role was in An Officer and a Murderer in which she took the role of Gwen in 2012, the same year she was in The Offering as Marla. This was followed by The Look Away in 2013 and in 2014, she was in Dorsal, The Captive, and Cut Bank. More so, she was in American Fable, Lavender, and Odd Squad: The Movie.

Peyton was offered various gigs in 2017 which was a very busy year for her. She was in XX as Jenny Jacobs, Sunny Side Up, Pound Life, What The Night and Cardinal.

Peyton Kennedy has also appeared in a number of TV productions since she made her TV debut on Cooper in 2013. This was subsequently followed by an appearance in Hannibal and then in 2015, she was in Between and Murdoch Mysteries. In 2016, Kennedy was in Killjoys followed by Taken in 2017. 2018 saw the actress taking a part in Grey’s Anatomy until 2019. Kennedy was also in Everything Sucks in 2018, and Odd Squad from 2014 to 2017.

She won her first award as an actress in 2013 when she was offered a Young Artist Award for her role in To Look Away for Best Performance in a Short Film. She also won The Joey Awards for The Captive in the category of Young Actress in a Feature Film Principle or Supporting Role; this was in 2014. The next year, her performance in Odd Squad gave her a Young Artist Awards and 2 The Joey Awards. Her role in American Fable earned her a Savannah Film Festival in 2016 while in 2017, she was awarded the Best Breakout Performance award at the Canadian Film Festival for Sunny Side Up.
