Siripipat was born on the 15th day of January 1981 in Mexico, Missouri. Initially, it was thought that she would build a career out of her liking for playing piano, dancing, swimming or gymnastics. She became an avid player and 5 years later, relocated to Tampa in Florida to actively pursue her dream of becoming a tennis player. This saw her become a student of Saddlebrook Tennis Academy.
