Randal Keith Orton, famously known as Randy Orton is an actor and a professional wrestler. He was born in a town called Knoxville in Tennessee; it is fair to say he has wrestling on his genes as he is the son of professional wrestler Bob Orton Jr and Elaine Orton.

Randy Orton Biography (Age)

Born on the 1st of April 1980, Randy is of Cherokee descent and in an attempt to shield him from the uncertainties of the wrestling business, his parents asked him to stay away, telling him that a life in wrestling would mean he will be on the road and always be away from his family.

Randy attended the Hazelwood Central High School where he honed his skills as a wrestler by fighting in amateur bouts in school. He left High School in 1998 and enlisted with the United States Marine Corp. Randy has always had a streak of bad behaviour and he took it to camp.

At the Marine base, after going AWOL twice and disobeying a commanding officer he received a bad conduct discharge in 1999 and was convicted by a special court-martial which led him to spend 38 days in the brig at Camp Pendleton. Not minding the advice giving to him by his father, Randy made his wrestling Debut in 2000 at St. Louis Missouri. His father had no option but to join the promotion in training him.

It was in 2001 that he made his big break and signed with the then World Wrestling Federation (WWF) where his training continued, his early career took a hit when he lost his first official match at WWF to Tommy Dreamer, but he wasted no time in getting his first victory when he defeated Hardcore Holly and soon became a Fan Favorite. His wrestling career has not looked back ever since that victory.

Aside from being an accomplished wrestler, Randy Orton also has a decent acting career; he was chosen to be the lead cast of the action film The Marine 2 but after injuring his collarbone he was replaced in 2009. He also starred in a supporting role for the comedy-drama That What I Am in 2011. Randy was a bit hard done when he was replaced by fellow wrestler The Miz for the movie Marine 3. This was due to his uneasy past as a Marine, but he later bounced back from that and starred in the movie Reloaded in 2013, he also showed his versatility when he starred in USA network’s series The Shooter in 2016 where he played an ex-navy seal leader of a militia group named James Richard in the 5th episode of the first season.

Randy Orton’s Family, Wife and Kids

Randy comes from a family with a proud wrestling heritage, not only his Father but his grandfather Bob Orton Sr was also a professional wrestler. His brothers are Nathan Orton and Roderick Orton and his sister, Becky Orton. As previously mentioned his parents are Elaine Orton who is a nurse and Bob Orton Jr. The man has an uncle called Barry, Barry Orton.

Not everyone is lucky enough to marry their high school heartthrob but Randy was, he married his longtime girlfriend Samantha Speno on the 21st of September 2007. But tragically, Orton and Speno got divorced on the 12th of July, 2013 having already been previously separated in the later months of 2012. The wrestler got remarried to Kimberly Kessler on the 14th of November 2015.

Randy’s first child and daughter, Alanna Marie Orton came from his first wife and was born on the 12th of July, 2008. His second child was born by his second wife Kimberly on the 22nd of November, 2016. The baby was named Brooklyn Rose Orton.

His Height and Weight

Being a professional wrestler, Randy ought to be in top shape. But then, it would be unfair to regard him as just a guy in shape. Randy is more than that, in fact, he is a beast of a man (in a complimentary way). He stands at an intimidating 6 feet 5 inches and weighs about 110kg (243 lb).

Is He Gay?

Randy was suspected to be gay when in 2006 Triple H accused him of being gay and told the WWE community to google “Randy Orton Gay Community” to see his erotic pictures.

As embarrassing as this was, it is best to regard it as a publicity stunt by the WWE. It wouldn’t cost the outlet anything to get Randy’s pictures on a gay porn site and, following Mr Randy’s two marriages, it is safe to assert that the man is not sexually attracted to his gender.
