When Sam was 13 years old, his mother decided to relocate to New York and took him along with her. While there, he attended the college preparatory school, Professional Children’s School, where he got the chance to appear in some commercials.

Sam Huntington’s acting career began in his childhood when he performed in his mother’s theatre and was a part of a drama group called the Peterborough Players. The time he spent with the group aided his growth as an actor and gave him the opportunity to act in a number of plays, one of which was the theatre production of Harper Lee’s novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. After his mother relocated to New York with him, his career grew as he was cast in a couple of television commercials and got to spend time with a more diverse group of actors.
