The multi-talented star was born on 27th September 1958 with the full birth name Shaun Paul Cassidy. Although much has not been revealed about Shaun’s educational background, it is however known that his interest in music can be traced back to his high school days when he landed a deal with the popular Warner Bros Records Inc. under Mike Curb. He launched his first album in 1976 in Europe and Australia. The album has a number of hit songs in it and was also recognized as multi-platinum. The song “Da Doo Ron Ron” in it was ranked no.1 in the U.S and landed a Grammy Award nomination for Shaun under the category Best New Artist. As his fame spread, Shaun Cassidy began to feature in a TV sitcom designed for him titled The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries alongside . After that, he released another successful album titled “Boen Late” but as time went by, the teenage stardom he had earned began to wear out.
