He was advised at that time by Bret Hart to join the Larry Sharpe’s Monster Factory wrestling school as Bret thought he would do well as a wrestler – and he wasn’t wrong. In April 2002, Sheamus began his journey to wrestling greatness by starting his training at the wrestling school and in six weeks, he was facing his first opponent as a wrestler.
