He may be the great and mighty Steph Curry on the basketball court, but when he’s at home with his girls, all that doesn’t matter. The athlete has 2 daughters with his wife, Ayesha, and the two are really going with the flow of the parenting thing.

In an issue of Parents, the couple told it all and explained their hands on approach to parenting among other things. So without further ado, let’s meet Stephen Curry’s kids.

Stephen Curry’s Kids; Riley Curry

Their first baby girl was born on July 19, 2012 and since then she has truly fulfilled the meaning of being a bundle of joy. Over the past year she has shown that she is not only witty, but not fazed by the attention she gets. In May 2016, the toddler tagged along to her dad’s press conference and stole the show.

It’s no easy feat to win the NBA’s coveted MVP title twice in a row, and with a unanimous vote for that matter. On this unique occasion, Riley managed to redirect the attention to herself while her dad was attending a press conference.

On the matter, her famous daddy told Parents, ‘ Riley wanted to hang out with me. She had that look, like she wasn’t going to take no for an answer, she sat up there, and that’s when her personality shined bright… She’s got a great sense of humor.’

So far, she’s practically a bigger star than Steph himself.

Their second little cutie was born on July 10, 2015, and the whole basketball world, most especially her parents were more than glad to welcome her. Once she arrived, Riley stepped into her big sister shoes quite commendably, on the topic, this is what Ayesha conveyed through a post on littlelightsofmine.com.

‘Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!’

She added, ‘ Stephen, Riley and I are enjoying this gorgeous gift from God and basking in the present! We are now officially a family of 4! Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully. I am already so proud of her!’

Theirs is a love that could be tagged, ‘tale as old as time’, OK, not that old, but ‘tale as old as church youth group.’ Unlike some of the stories we hear here, it was not a ‘love at first sight’ affair, in fact, the two had no inclination towards each other at first.

It wasn’t till a few years later when she was acting and modeling in Los Angeles and he was playing college basketball for Davidson, that the two re-connected. Ayesha had no prior intentions to date an athlete or even date Steph who she still considered as ‘ the cute boy at church that all of the girls were obsessed with,’ a major turn off.

Nevertheless, after accepting to go on a date with him, she realized that, ‘ He was so funny and silly, the absolute opposite of what I thought he was going to be.’

Their relationship was relatively fast paced as they tied the knot in 2011. Despite the fact that this is under the sub heading, Stephen Curry’s wife, make no mistake, that’s not all she is. Prior to her marriage to Curry she was an actress and appeared in movies like, Underground Street Flippers, Dan’s Detour of Life and Love for Sale.

These days she is a celebrity cook, cookbook author and television personality.

Steph and Ayesha own some pretty sweet digs in Orinda, California, but guess what, the house is on the market for $3.895 million . We are going to check it out anyway. The 4700 square foot house has some phenomenal features, but more importantly, it’s a home.

It has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a state of the art pool and outdoor sit out, a basketball court and a golf course.

It also has, an indoor and out door kitchen with a heated dining area. There are also vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, two private balconies, a walk-in closet with custom built-ins, and a bathroom centered around the Victoria and Albert limestone tub, in addition to a three car garage.

Sounds like some classy digs, but they are definitely getting an upgrade. According to the Wall Street Journal, The Currys are moving to a larger home that they purchased in Walnut Creek in 2015 for $3.2 million.
