The all-around entertainer has his full name as Todd Joseph Miller, he was born on June 4, 1981, in Denver, Colorado as a son to Leslie Miller (Jewish mother) and Kent Miller (American father).

As a young child, he schooled at Graland Country Day School and East High School where he was known as the class clown as well as a member of the school’s drama club. After high school, T.J Miller proceeded to George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C to study psychology with a focus on situation theory and social influence. In the course of time, he bagged a B.A in the year 2003. Prior to his graduation, as an avid entertainer, Todd was a notable member of receSs, a comedy group in GWU and he equally studied Shakespeare for a summer when he attended the British American Drama Academy in London.

Like every other actor who has a knack for making people laugh, T.J Miller started off his entertainment career as a comedian when he moved to Chicago. He quickly got famous with an improvisational comedy enterprise called The Second City which he toured with for 2 years. By 2011, he released his first comedy project called No Real Reason which was quickly followed with a comedy album titled Mash Up Audiofile in 2012.

Who is His Wife?

T. J Miller is no longer single, the talented entertainer got his longtime girlfriend and now wife – Kate Miller engaged in the year 2014. On September 6, 2015, the duo walked down the aisle at the Denver Botanic Gardens where they were pronounced husband and wife. Their union is not known to have produced any children.

Kate, just like her husband is equally gifted in the arts, she is a mixed-media artist and an actress who so far is doing well in her career.

 

Why Did He Leave Silicon Valley? 

Todd Joseph Miller gained quite a lot of attention with his role as Erlich Bachman in the HBO sitcom Silicon Valley. In the show, he plays the character of a prominent staff in Pied Piper – a tech company where he is a venture capitalist, software designer, and chronic pot smoker.

Everything was going well for the actor, the crew and viewers until Season 4 in 2017 when he opted to leave the show. As the media dug to unravel what was prolly happening behind the scene, T. J revealed, as reported by the Hollywood Reporters that he was offered a reduced number of episodes in the show and also added that he disliked Alec Berg, the show’s director. Mike Judge, Silicon Valley co-creator gave his account to be that it was clear that T.J wasn’t into doing the show anymore and thus he decided to leave.

Nevertheless, considering how his character was written off the show, we might possibly see a return of the actor to the show.
