With the announcement already made for the new installment of shows, fans are already speculating on those that will make The 100 Season 7 cast members cut.
The show is an American drama series that is set in a post-apocalyptic era. It has been running on The CW network for 6 seasons now. It premiered in March 2014, and is based on a novel with the same name that was written by Kass Morgan; Jason Rothenberg developed the content for television.
The well-followed television series has won two notable awards – Saturn Awards in 2015 in the Best Youth Oriented Series and the MTV Fandom Awards in 2016 in the Fan Freakout of the year category; it has also received more than 28 other nominations for awards.
The 100 Season 7 Cast We Want to See
Though there has not been any official communication about the cast of season 7 from the writer and director, here is a list of the cast members that we know will feature in the new season:
1. Eliza Taylor
Eliza Taylor plays the lead character on the television show, Clarke Griffin – the leader of The 100. Clarke is the daughter of Jake and Abigail Griffin and became a part of The 100 when she was sent to prison for being an accessory to the crime of her father. She can be kind and benevolent and also transform into a ruthless killer to safeguard the lives of her people; she was the medical professional of the group before reinforcements were sent from the Ark.
2. Paige Turco
stars as the character, Abigail Griffin – Clarke’s mother on the show. She is also the Chief Medical Officer on the Ark before she was relieved of her title and reinstated back when she arrived to earth.
Abigail”s character has a 50/50 chance of making it to season 7 of the 100, as Russell Lightbourne first tried to wipe her mind, then take over her body as the host of Simone Lightbourne, but when that backfires, she is blown out of space and her body is shown floating around in space.
3. Bob Morley
played the role of Bellamy Blake – the col-leader of The 100 and Clarke’s best friend and confidant. He is also the overprotective older brother of Olivia Blake. Bellamy is a committed and fearless leader, who will risk everything to protect his people.
4. Marie Avgeropoulos
She features as Octavia Blake.- younger sister of Bellamy Blake on the show. was originally part of The 100, but as she interacts more with Lincoln – a member of the Grounders, she begins to become more like them.
She was stabbed by Hope in the last episode of season 6 and disappeared into the anomaly, but something tells us that we haven’t seen the last of her on the show.
5. Christopher Larkin
Christopher Larkin portrays the Monty Green on the show – a tech-savvy and very intelligent young man, who also possesses superb engineering and pharmaceutical knowledge and skills which the 100 find very useful. Though Monty died on the show, he began appearing to Clarke as a manifestation of her mind in season 6, and he may continue the same in season 7.
6. Lindsey Morgan
stars as Raven Reyes on the show, a fearless and ambitious mechanic on the Ark, who manages to escape to earth in a pod. She became an adviser to Abby, who is a chancellor on earth.
7. Richard Harmon
Richard Harmon has played the role of Richard Murphy since season 3. Originally a member of the 100, his penchant for causing trouble and possessing a criminal mind alienated him from the group and he was greatly disliked by them.
8. Tasya Teles
Another The 100 season 7 cast member is Tasya Teles. Though Tasya Teles joined the show in season 5, she plays the role of Echo on set. She was one of the original survivors on earth – the grounders, and she helped mastermind the destruction of Mount Weather.
Other Cast Members in the Series
There are several other The 100 cast members who will either feature in recurrent roles or be cast as guest stars, some of whom are Jordan Green (Shannon Kook), Adina Porter (Indra), (Gabriel Santiago), Jarod Joseph (Nathan Miller), (Madi. Griffin), (Gaia), . (Charmaine Diyoza), just to mention a few.
Season 7 of the 100 was only renewed in April 2019, and it is believed that filming is currently taking place now, and it would have 16 episodes; It has been confirmed that this will be the last season of the series.
