The TV reporter who is an American by nationality and white American by ethnicity was born in 1968 in Los Angeles, California, in the U.S. He has a sister and they were both raised by their mother who had divorced from their father when they were still kids.
Young Berlin was enrolled in a local school in his hometown where he subsequently graduated from. Tony, in 2002, studied reporting at the Poynter Institute from where he proceeded to study political science at Occidental College since he had an interest in reporting. He earned a BA in the political science there before he worked as an intern in PBS News Hour while doing his Master’s degree programme at the American University’s Graduate School of Communication.
Professional Career
Tony Berlin’s professional career started when he joined the ABC morning show: Good Morning America. From his first appearance on the show, he won the hearts of millions of American’s and became quite famous within a short time. His work at ABC was followed by his reporting role in WHIO-TV in 1995 where he worked for 3 years before joining WCCO-TV.
At WCCO-TV Twin Cities, he worked as a lead reporter for 7 productive years and moved on to work as a field reporter in WCBS-TV Channel 2 in New York.
Having worked for over a decade in the industry with lots of transferable experience in journalism, he was appointed the manager of media relations which was followed by a promotion as director of Media Relations and later as President of the media house.
Tony Berlin knows his onions when it comes to journalism in its entirety. His career has seen him work in many shows and stations like PBS News Hour, ABC’s Today Show, Good Morning America, CNBC, FOX News Channel and Fox Business Network.
