Fans of the journalist and her show on CBS network let their rage show when she was replaced by Alex Wagner. She has never been fired in any of her jobs so we wouldn’t assume that she was this time.

The anchoring was actually an audition to become Alexa Conomos’ successor on Dallas-based TEGNA8’s weekday editions of the show. The position, however, went to Kara Sewell who joined the network on January 4, 2018.

She was for KXAS, NBC station in Dallas. Vinita joined the network’s staffers on January 29, 2018.

Who is her Husband?

As is common with most journalists, they love to maintain a low profile and don’t make their personal life a public affair as well as regards their family with almost utmost privacy. However, rumors sprung up that the couple was headed to the path of divorce but those were only rumors. They are still together and their bonds are only growing stronger.

The fact that they have known each other for a long time before they tied the knot and being in the same profession may have played a part in keeping them together and in love.

Vinita gave birth to their son on January 25, 2012. The proud parents named their baby boy Tahir, a Muslim name which means purity.
