Viva Bianca Biography

Born as Viva Skubiszewski on 17 November 1983, in Victoria, Australia, she is the daughter of Lee Skubiszewski (mother) and father Cezary Skubiszewski, the popular Polish composer for film, television, and orchestra. She has a brother Jan Skubiszewski who is also a producer and composer.

Raised in Melbourne, Bianca was inspired by Australian actors Cate Blanchett, Abbie Cornish and Heath Ledger and had always dreamt of becoming an actress someday. She pursued her dreams by attending the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she graduated with honours.

Career

Bianca made her screen acting debut in an episode of the television series Eugenie Sandler P.I. She has various screen roles to her credit which include TV series, such as Marshall Law, Blue Heelers, All Saints, The Strip and movie roles such as Accidents Happen (2009), Bad Bush (2009), Scorned (2013), and The Reckoning (2014).

But Bianca’s claim to fame was her incredible character as the young Roman noblewoman Ilithyia in the hit gladiator series Spartacus: Blood and Sand (2010). Her extremely cold-hearted and calculating character in the movie portrays a gorgeous woman who has a killer body that men lust after which she uses to manipulate her husband into inflicting pain upon her enemies. The highly acclaimed series was a huge success in many countries like Australia, USA and Britain. Bianca had her role reprised in Spartacus: Vengeance (2012). She has worked on other movies such as A Prince for Christmas (2015), Trudith Winters and Blind (2016).
