The Minnesota-born actor began his acting career in the year 2000 and had his first role in a play Evergreen: A Christmas Story at the Sheldon Theater. Two years later, he played as Zeke Wilder in Septuplets and Myra: Miracles Happen. Thereafter, he scored roles in many blockbuster movies, including The Pitts and Twelve Mile Road. He followed it up with roles in JAG, Boston Public, Judging Amy, and Grounded for Life in 2003. He got his first major gig in the 2001 Disney film, The Princess Diaries.
