When Does Jumanji The Next Level Come Out?
When filmmakers hit it big – Jumanji big! at the global box office, then chances are that there is going to be a sequel and for Jumanji (first film titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) which made about a billion from a mere average budget of $100 million, talks about a sequel began almost immediately after those box office numbers became official.
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, the last Jumanji movie was released in 2017 and in addition to Dwayne Johnson, it featured some other big names including funnyman (whose frequent combo with Johnson have been incredible), one of the Jonas Brothers , multi-talented entertainer Jack Black, Guardians of Galaxy star as well as small screen staple, Bobby Cannavale.

In addition to announcing Kasdan as the director and writer, it was revealed that all the major stars – Johnson, Hart, Black, and Gillian would all be returning to reprise their game world characters.
Soon after, it was revealed that Jumanji The Next Level would be coming out in time for Christmas, precisely on the 11th of December 2019.

When filming began in January 2019, more details emerged, especially that the cast would include new faces in the persons of (who had her breakthrough in 2018 with the films Crazy Rich Asians and Ocean’s 8), Lethal Weapon star, and who rose to fame in the early 80s for his portrayal of taxi dispatcher Louie De Palmer in the hit TV series, Taxi.
Some other notable names to portray small roles in Jumanji The Next Level include Dania Ramirez, Ashley Scott, and Massi Furlan. The filming of the sequel which took place in undisclosed locations in Atlanta, New Mexico, Calgary, and Hawaii was concluded exactly on the 11th of May 2019 with Johnson in typical fashion taking to his Instagram page to mark the occasion while expressing gratitude to fans and crew. On the first of July 2019, the first trailer was out to the thrill of fans. Thanks to it, we now know that the plot would basically follow another adventure of Spencer and his friends heading back into the most dangerous video game in the world.
