Seeing identical twins together is usually an adorable sight and even more so when they are triplets. The Dahm Triplets have achieved an enviable height of fame thanks to their identicality and ravishing beauty. The triplets are so identical that their parents had to make markings on their body to tell them apart. They unexpectedly found themselves in the spotlight after they collectively agreed to honor a Playboy call and as a result, the three found themselves steering away from their initial dreams of becoming nurses to launching a new career path in showbiz.

Who are The Dahm Triplets

The Dahm triplets; Jaclyn Elizabeth, Erica Elizabeth, and Nicole Elizabeth Dahm, were birthed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the United States of America on December 12, 1977. They are Sagittarius and are of Irish and British descent. As babies, their parents encountered a huge challenge in differentiating them and resorted to etching unique spots on two of the triplets’ backsides to aid identification.

Jaclyn who is the youngest of the three was not given any tattoo; Erica who is the second of the triplets was marked with two tattoos and Nicole who is the oldest of the triplets was marked with one. Not much is known about the sisters’ immediate family except that their father bears the name Bob and they have an elder sister who goes by the name Lisa.

The triplets spent their childhood and went to high school in Jordan. They grew up doing and having almost everything in common including friends, outfits and the likes. People could hardly tell them apart. As they advanced in age, they nursed the ambition of pursuing a career in the medical line; they intended on becoming nurses. Upon completion of their high school education and in line with their career ambition, they got registered to study nursing at the University of Minnesota.

What Are They Known For?

The Dahm Triplets barely went unnoticed given their uniqueness as identical triplets which is quite rare, their ravishing beauty (they had quite long hair and lovely eyes) is one of the reasons they attracted attention. They were indeed the cynosure of every eye. Modeling outfits sort them out and at the young age of 16, they landed a spot on the front page of Teen Magazine.

The triplets never thought of venturing into showbiz let alone making a living from it. However, mother fate had a different plan for them, as on a certain fateful day, while still studying to be nurses; they stumbled on a circular at the campus ground for Playboy, a tabloid that showcases nude pictures, calling for Girls of the Big Ten Special Edition.

Fortunately, they got a chance at trial shoots which could mainly be attributed to the sheer luck that they were not just sibling but triplets and identical ones which made them stand out. Following the trial shoot, they went on to feature in several issues of Playboy and were privileged to appear once on the front cover of the Australian edition of the popular magazine.

Their debut with Playboy as nude models made them widely known and paved way for numerous openings to them in the world of showbiz. With the inflow of openings, the Dahm Triplets had to make the crucial decision of either following their dream of a career in nursing or continuing in showbiz as it became tough for them to shuffle between the two.

After a lot of deliberations, they finally made a conclusion and opted for the later, a career in showbiz. To nurture their budding careers, the sisters relocated to Los Angeles – the home of all things showbiz.

They soon went on to feature on television. They were on Boys Meets World Show; they contested on two reality competitions where they emerged as winners in both shows carting away a whopping sum of $10,000 for one and retaining a revamped apartment for the other. The sisters were also in some episodes of The Doctors. They acted in the Relic Hunter, RoboCop: Prime Directives and Juwanna Mann. The triplets were members of the mob on the National Broadcasting Company’s game show 1 vs. 100.

In 2017, the Dahm Triplets were on an episode of The Doctors which focused on the reliability of home-based DNA test. The DNA test of the trio was conducted and analyzed by Lisa Guerrero. The analysis of the initial test result proved that the triplets were identical. However, the preceding test result was a shocker proceeding from a detailed analysis which proved their ancestry was not similar. Though their ancestry could be traced to be Irish and British, and French and German; however, there existed a wide variation in the percentage of ancestry among the triplets.
