Abigail Spencer is a modern day actress who fell in love with the screen as a young girl. She has since evolved into an exceptional actress with a plethora of works to her credit. One of her notable works includes her role as Dana “Scottie” Scott on the USA Network legal drama Suits alongside Patrick J. Adams, , , and .

She was born Abigail Leigh Spencer on the 4th day of August 1981 in Gold Breeze, Florida, the United States. Her father Yancy Bailey Spencer III (1950-2011) was a professional surfer and her mother is Lydia Ann Brown. She has two siblings: younger brother Sterling (born 1986) and an older half-brother, Yancy Bailey IV (born 1973). The actress is the product of mixed ancestry of English, German and part Cherokee.

Spencer’s journey into the world of entertainment began in 1999 when she was cast as Rebecca “Becca” Tyree on ABC soap opera All My Children (1999-2001). After that, she was cast in the lead role as Angela Henson in the short-lived Lifetime Television original series Angela’s Eyes (July-October 2006, 13 episodes). Between her debut role and first major role, she appeared in guest roles on several TV shows including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Killer Instinct, Gilmore Girls and also starred in films such as Campfire Stories, Truth and Dare, Fathers and Sons, A Coat of Snow, and Hooked.

After dating for some time, they sealed their relationship with a nuptial in 2004. The duo enjoyed a marital bliss following their wedding and welcomed their son named Roman Allen Pruett, on September 19, 2008. Unfortunately, their love boat was rocked by divorce in February 2012 with an eventual separation in 2013.

Although their “happily ever after” did not happen as they might have anticipated, they have moved on with other partners. Andrew started dating actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth in April 2015 while Abigail got romantically linked to an American actor, Josh Pence since 2012.
