Best known for playing the character Susan in The Chronicles of Narnia and Chyler Silva in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn is this British theatre, film, and television actress known as Anna Popplewell.

High Court judge Andrew Popplewell’s wife Dr. Debra Lomas, a dermatologist who graduated from the Newnham College Cambridge gave birth to Anna Popplewell on the 16th day of December 1988 in London, England, in the United Kingdom as Anna Katherine Popplewell. She came as the first of their three children – actress Lulu Popplewell and actor Freddie Poppwell.

From a young age, her parents knew she had a talent for acting and they did well to enrol her at the Allsorts Drama School where she took acting classes from the age of 6. She attended North London Collegiate School and was Head Girl in the 2006–07 session. As a college student, Anna studied English Language and Literature at Magdalen College, Oxford University beginning from 2007 and graduated in 2010.

Anna’s acting prowess dates back to a time when she was still unknown unlike she is today. She made her professional acting debut in the Frenchman’s Creek of 1998. Her film debut followed in the 1999 film Mansfield Park. From this time, she made more appearances in supporting roles in films like The Little Vampire (2000), Love in a Cold Climate (2001) and Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) with Scarlett Johansson.

The year 2005 was probably her biggest year in filmmaking when she got her first major role in the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe as the character Susan Pevensie. In the second Narnia film, she repeated her role when she acted alongside Ben Barnes, William Moseley, Georgie Henley and Skandar Keynes in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. In the third Narnia film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader she made a cameo appearance.

Following her career boom in the movie industry, she brought the character Chyler Silva in Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn which was quickly followed the next year by her 3 years work as Lola in the 2013-2016 television series; Reign. He is the youngest of the three children born to his parents. His elder siblings are Joanna Caird who was born on 29th January 1983 and Benjamin Caird born on 10 October 1984. Their parents, however, divorced not long after Sam was born and this saw his father remarrying and having 5 other step-siblings for him.

Anna’s husband probably got his acting and film directing genes from his father who used to be the staff director of Treasure Island at the National Theatre, in addition to also working as assistant director for Arden of Faversham and The Witch of Edmonton for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
