Curtis Lepore is an American celebrity actor and musician. He was born on June 28, 1983, in Smithtown, New York, United States. He had all levels of his education in New York and completed his schooling by earning a degree from the State University of New York at Oswego.

The actor is a Vegan. He chose to stick to vegetables and abstain from meat a long time ago and his decision was largely influenced by his love for pets. He once had a Boston Terrier breed which was named Buster Beans. His dog appeared on the majority of his vine videos. He adopted Buster Beans from an elderly couple who were apparently too old to take care of it. Sadly, Buster Beans passed away in 2016.

Curtis used to date YouTube star Jessica “Smiles” Vazquez prior to her accusing him of raping her. However, the pair went their separate ways after the rape incident. Afterward, Curtis started dating the gorgeous Claire Felske and they have been together to date.

Career

Curtis Lepore began his lucrative career as a musician. In 2009, he started playing as the lead singer of the straight edge hardcore band, GhostXship, a band in which he was a founding member. After three years of performing with the band, he left and went on to become a temporary member of the No Zodiac band, featuring on some of the band’s songs. At a time, he went on a music tour with the band as its substitute lead vocalist, following the inability of the bands regular lead vocalist to secure a visa to travel out of the country.

Lepore soon started uploading videos on the video sharing site, Vine. It was through this means that he made most of his fame. As at August 2016, he was ranked as Vine’s 7th most popular user and he remained within the top 10 spots for several months. His talent earned him sponsorship deals from companies such as Virgin Mobile, Jolly Rancher, and Aquafina.

In 2017, Curtis featured in the sports action film Speedball. The movie is about paintball and a team that competed in a paintball tournament. It was directed and written by Alex DiMarco. It also starred actors such as and Andrew Bachelor. The following year, he was cast in the comedy film, Airplane Mode, which was directed by Dylan Trussell and David Dinetz. Rape Accusation

In October 2013, while Curtis was still dating Jessica Vazquez, Vazquez accused him of raping her. According to her claims, while she was shooting a video for her Vine, she had a concussion and Curtis came over to help her out but when she fell asleep, he allegedly raped her. Following the accusations laid by Vazquez, the LAPD arrested Curtis. Bail was set at $100k, which was paid and Curtis was released. On February 21, 2014, Curtis pleaded not guilty to the charges of rape and pleaded guilty to felony assault, which led the rape charges against him to be dropped.

After the charges against Curtis were dropped, Jessi Smiles took to her Twitter page to express her relief as the whole incidence was over, she tweeted, “Curtis plead guilty to a felony assault today in court. It is no longer going to trial. I am okay with this and thankful for it to be over.” Several tweets from Curtis Lepore then followed, in some of his tweets, he thanked his friends and family for supporting and standing by him. Additionally, the charges of felony assault against him were reduced to a misdemeanor in February 2015.
