The name Jayma Mays will most certainly ring a bell to lovers of the Fox hit series, Glee. For those who may have never come across the star’s name, she is an American actress and singer best known for her portrayal of Emma Pillsbury in the Fox musical series. At the age of 15, she worked at a local radio station where her job was to read obituaries. After finishing from Grundy High School in 1997, she earned herself an associate degree at Southwest Virginia Community College. Jayma did not stop there. She went ahead to attend Virginia Tech and after spending just a year there, she transferred to Radford University. She ended up gaining a degree in Theatre from the University in 2000 and relocated to California to fully pursue her dreams.
