Kelen Coleman is an on-screen actress who started making her way in Hollywood in the year 2008. Kelen Sadie Coleman is the daughter of T. Michael Coleman and Robin Coleman as well as the sister of Josh Coleman, a popular graphic designer.

Robin gave birth to the actress on the 18th day of April 1984, in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States of America; however, Kelen was raised in Potomac, Maryland, where her family moved to during her childhood.

Her father is a producer, filmmaker, videographer, and musician. Born Thomas Michael Coleman, he is a bluegrass and folk musician whose career in the entertainment industry began in the year 1970. The bass guitarist is famed for banding together with renowned bluegrass and folk icons such as Chesapeake band, the American songwriter and musician – Doc Watson and the American bluegrass band, The Seldom Scene. Some of his credits in the movie industry include Inside the Afghanistan War (2012), Broke: The New American Dream (2009), and Children of Armageddon (2008).

Kelen spent most of her childhood on the same stage with some of her father’s colleagues. While the actress’s dad is a Christian, her mother is an Ashkenazi Jew who also observes Jewish traditions.

As regards her education, it is not known exactly where Kelen Coleman had her basic education, however, she received her higher education studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her course of study and the particular year she graduated from the institution is still a mystery.

Kelen Coleman’s first role in a movie was as Maddy in the American teen comedy film, Fired Up!, after which she was cast as Stephanie in the comedy project, The Marc Pease Experience in the same year. Since then, she has had roles in the following movies, Children of the Corn: Genesis as Allie (2011), Dorfman in Love as Molly (2011), Cassadaga as Lily (2011), The Polterguys as Jo Branson, (2012), A True Story as Karen (2013), The Night Is Young as Amy (2015), Better Off Single as Lorelei (2016), Flock of Dudes as Krista (2016), Dirty 30 as Claire (2016), and True Memoirs of an International Assassin as Kylie Applebaum (2016).
