Kennya Baldwin was born Kennya Deodato and she is of Brazillian descent. She was born on the 24th of October, 1968 in Brazil. The Caucasian artist and designer was born into the family of the famous musician Eumir Deodato de Ameida and Mary Ellen Deodato. Her father was a popular musician, composer, producer and arranger who won the Grammy Awards in 1974 for the Best Pop Instrumental Performance. He is well known for his dexterity in the Bossa Nora genre. However, he divorced Kennya’s mother, Mary and picked a younger lady as a girlfriend who he is yet to marry.

As a child, Kennya Baldwin moved to the United States and studied at the York Preparatory School, New York, where she graduated in 1984. She also attended Parsons School of Designs and graduated as a graphics designer. Soon after graduation, Kennya started working as an artist and graphic designer in New York. Kennya is very passionate about her work and believes that arts is more of a passion for her than a career.

Very little is known and documented about Kennya’s mother, Mary Ellen, only that she was married to the famous Brazilian pop star, Eumir Deodato. Asides being a pop star famous for his songs in Bossa Nora, Eumir was also a composer, a producer, and a musical arranger. Eumir was born on June 12, 1942, in Rio de Janeiro to an Italian father and Portuguese mother. Nothing is known about his education, childhood or siblings.

Deodato is a music legend and leader that is known around the world. In 1974, he won the Grammy Awards for the Best Pop/Rock Instrumental Performance. He has also received awards from Billboard, Cashbox, and Record World among several others.

Kennya Baldwin is one of the few Hollywood celebrities that have been able to keep their marriages.  She is happily and delightfully married to popular American actor Stephen Baldwin. Kennya met Stephen in a subway station in 1987 in New York and instantly fell in love. The showbiz sweethearts dated for three years and tied the knot in 1990.

The couple has been married for 27 years and they have two beautiful girls; Alaia and Hailey. Both daughters are top notch models. Alaia was born on January 24, 1993, while Hailey came on November 22, 1996. Alaia and Hailey were home-schooled by mother.

Stephen Baldwin is the youngest brother of actor . He was born in an acting family, as all his three brothers were known for acting. He followed the path of his brothers and is a renowned film and television actor. Born on May 12, 1976 in Massapequa, New York City, he came into a middle-classed family of homemaker Carol and Alexandra Rea Baldwin, a high school teacher.

Aside from his brothers, he had two sisters who embraced different careers. He attended Alfred G Berner High School in his hometown of Massapequa and graduated in the class of 1984. After high school, he proceeded to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and began his career in acting.

Stephen’s acting career began with minor roles in television series which led to major roles that shot him to stardom. He is popularly known for the role he played as a criminal in the 1995 Thriller, The Usual Suspects.

He has faced a series of financial and legal problems, including bankruptcy in 2009 that led to the foreclosure of two of his houses and an arrest in 2012 for evasion of income tax.
