She was the third and last wife of the comedian and they were married for barely three years before his sudden demise in 2014. After his death, Susan, who attributed his death to his struggle with Lewy body disease has since become an advocate for brain health and Lewy Body Dementia Awareness.

Robin Williams’ ex-wife came into this world on the 24th day of January 1964 and was born in Marin County in California, United States. She successfully launched her first art exhibition in 2006 and during the exhibition, she got positive reviews from art lovers around the US. Afterward, she decided to channel her focus on improving her art skills rather than graphic design. Interestingly, Susan also carried out seven solo as well as group art exhibitions in the US and Canada in 2018. He rose to the spotlight after portraying the character of Mork in the sitcom Mork & Mindy which aired on ABC Network from 1978 to 1982. The couple met each other in late 2008 in what could be described as love at first sight. They bonded so well and fast, all thanks to their art inclinations. After their meeting, the pair decided to ignite a relationship and three years later, they tied the knot in a lavish wedding held in St. Helena, California on 22nd October 2011. Prior to their marriage, Susan Schneider Williams was once married to an American businessman named Richard Armusewicz. The duo tied the knot during the ‘80s, had two children together, and later divorced in 2001. Robin, on the other hand, was previously married twice. His first marriage was with Valerie Velardi in 1978 and the pair had a son named Zachary (born in 1983). They went their separate ways after ten years of marriage and their divorce was finalized in 1988.

The following year, he married film producer Marsha Garces. The pair had two children, actress Zelda Williams born in 1989 and Cody Williams in 1991. Robin and Marsha went their separate ways in 2008, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce. Their divorce was process was consummated in 2010.

Three years into their marriage, Susan’s husband Robin was found hanging in his mansion in California. The actor was said to have committed suicide by hanging, leaving behind his wife and children. After his death, it was discovered that he was battling with Lewy body dementia. As a result of this, his wife Susan devoted her life to advocating for people suffering from such a disease. She has been working with the American Brain Foundation, helping to raise awareness for brain diseases.

In recent times, she makes guest appearances on various TV shows including The View, CBS This Morning, and Good Morning America, among others. She also wrote a book entitled The Terrorist Inside my Husband’s Brain for which she won an award from the American Brain Foundation. Additionally, she serves as the current vice president of the foundation.
