Who is Tennessee James Toth?

Tennessee James Toth is the son of Hollywood actress, Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth. He was born on September 27, 2012, in Los Angeles, California and his birth sign or horoscope is Libra. Tennessee is the third child of his mother but the first child of his parents. He was born just one year after their marriage in March 2011. The other children of his mother, Reese Witherspoon are Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and Deacon Reese Phillippe, who she had in her previous marriage to fellow Hollywood actor, Ryan Phillipe.

Even though he – Tennessee James Toth – is still a child, he has become a celebrated little boy thanks to his parents – especially his mother’s celebrity status. As earlier mentioned, Tennessee James Toth is the first son of Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon. The Hollywood actress has two other children from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillipe, who is also an actor. Reese met her ex-husband, Ryan as a new entrant into the entertainment industry. It was at her birthday party in March 1997 and the connection was magical. They struck the love cord and soon they began dating.

They had dated for about a year before Reese discovered she was pregnant in 1998. It was actually on the set of a film they (Ryan and Reese) were acting together  – Cruel Intentions (1998) -that she made the discovery. They got engaged in December 1998 and eventually got married the next year – June 5, 1999 – in South Carolina and welcomed their first child in their marriage. The child, a baby girl, Ava Elizabeth Phillipe was born on September 9, 1999.

Reese became pregnant again while shooting one of her major roles in a film – Vanity Fair (2004). The family had just returned from a vacation when she found out. However, the pregnancy was used in the shooting as her character in the film (Becky Sharp) was also pregnant. The family warmed up to the expected baby and their first daughter, Ava was super excited about the prospect of having a younger sibling.

Finally, he arrived. The baby boy was born on October 23, 2003, and was named Deacon Reese Phillipe. Three years later, gossip magazine Star, published a story about Reese being pregnant with another child. This didn’t go down well with the Oscar award-winning actress as she sued the magazine for defamation and won in the court. Later in the same year, 2006, she announced her separation from her husband, Ryan Phillipe, which also brought an end to their 7-year old marriage. The experience was devastating for Reese as they completed the divorce in 2007.

However, she met Jim Toth, a Loyola Marymount University alumni and talent agent and shortly after their meeting they started dating in March 2010. Having fallen in love with each other, the couple got engaged the same year – December 28 – and in three months from then, they said “I do” to each other. They were married in Ojai, California in a small wedding ceremony that had friends and family in attendance. Reese’s children with ex-husband, Ryan Phillipe play important roles in the wedding. While her daughter Ava served as her maid of honor, her son, Deacon served as the ring bearer.

On September 27, 2012, Tennessee James Toth came along as an additional member of the family. He is their first child as a couple as well as Jim’s first offspring. The family has blended well with one another and with a combined net worth of $124 million (Jim is estimated to be worth $4 million while his wife, Reese’s net worth is estimated at $120 million).

Born as James Joseph Toth, Jim is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where his studied political science. He is currently the head talent agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). He works at the office in Los Angeles, California. As a talent agent, Jim has had so many clients within the industry and some of them include Jamie Foxx, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Scarlet Johannson.
