The actress was born on May 22, 1986, to William Ephraim and Nina Zebooker, in Philadelphia. She has a sibling called Max and they were brought up the Jewish way. She had the opportunity to participate in many stage acts at the Arden Theatre and at The Prince Music Theatre. At age 15, Molly played the role of Little Red Riding Hood on Broadway which earned her a nomination at the Drama League Award. Molly had her tertiary education at Princeton University from where she graduated in 2008 with a degree in Religious Studies. After the 6th season of Last Man Standing, there was a break in production because of some changes made by ABC network who aired

the show. Though the season was restored in 2018, most of the actors and actresses had gotten themselves busy with other engagements – this was the case for Molly too. Therefore when Last Man Standing was restored to the channel for its 7th season, fans couldn’t help but notice the different looking Mandy, it was then obvious that Molly Ephraim had left the show.

It was later revealed that after the show was stopped in 2017, Molly got other opportunities and by the time Last Man Standing was restored, she was tied up in other projects and so she opted out.
