Gina Loudon is one of the many people who worked as a surrogate for the Trump Campaign during President Donald Trump’s bid for the highest office in the United States of America. The Republican commentator and author appeared frequently on TV to defend her party’s presidential candidate who ended being successful at the polls, becoming the 45th President of the United States.

Thanks to the role she played, Ms. Loudon has further been able to land herself a position as a member of Trump’s 2020 Campaign Media Advisory Board. She was also made the co-chair of Women for Trump 2020, a position through which she aims to organize Republican women to support the president’s re-election bid.

How Did Gina Loudon Become Famous?

One main reason why Gina Loudon has been able to achieve fame is because of her work in the media for the Republican Party and Donald Trump. She was able to land these roles and become successful at it thanks to her previous line of work as a radio and TV host. The Missouri native first worked as a radio talk show host on KJSL in her hometown of St. Louis before moving to Alabama to work with WYDE-FM. She was later able to make the transition from radio to television when she began hosting America Trends, a show that focuses on social media and the trends of the day.

As her career progressed, Loudon got to appear on various television networks in America, including CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News where she commented on a wide range of topics that included politics, psychology, business, women issues, and adoption of special needs children. She also wrote a few articles for publications like Fox News.com, Breitbart, and WND.com.

With all this work and her affiliation with the Tea Party Movement, it did not come as a surprise when Gina Loudon was made an official surrogate and spokesperson for the Trump Campaign in 2016. She has since then gone ahead to achieve even more fame as she published the book Mad Politics: Keeping Your Sanity in a World Gone Crazy in 2018 where she claimed that Trump was “the most sound-minded person to ever occupy the White House.” Loudon said she used scientific evidence to come to her conclusion, a claim that has since been rebuffed by many, most notably the publication The Daily Beast which called her qualifications in Psychology into question.

Here’s What We Know About Her Marriage & Family Members

Since 1990, Gina Loudon has been married to John William Loudon, an American politician aligned to the Republican Party who along with his wife was elected National Delegates to the Republican National Convention held in 2016.

John Loudon had previously served as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000, and then as a member of the Missouri Senate for the 7th District from 2000 until his retirement in 2008 due to Missouri State senate term limits. Following his time in office, the politician worked as a policy advisor to America First Policies and took up the position of Chairman of both Florida Citizen Voters and Citizen Voters Inc., organizations that are working to change state constitutions all across the US to explicitly state that only citizens are allowed to vote in elections.

Gina and John, who are reported to have met while she was enrolled at William Woods University, exchanged vows in Fulton, Missouri at her husband’s alma mater of Westminster College. Together, the couple has five children; Lyda, Lily, Bo, Samuel, and Jack.

Two of the Loudon children have in the past made the headlines for different reasons. First is Samuel, the couple’s son who was adopted as a newborn baby with Down Syndrome. Gina Loudon has repeatedly spoken about the challenges of raising a child suffering from the disease as well as her fight to bring attention to the disease. The second of the Loudon children to have gained the attention of the public was daughter Lydia for her with Cuban-American actor Steven Bauer who is almost forty years older than she is.

Lydia and Bauer reportedly began dating in mid-2014, two years after the actor who is known for his roles in Scarface, Ray Donovan, and Breaking Bad ended his marriage to his fourth wife, Paulette Miltimore. While a few reports suggested that the relationship between the pair broke the hearts of her parents, Gina Loudon went on to write a 2,000-word open essay where she discussed the issue; from her then eighteen-year-old daughter’s virginity status to her family’s decision to support her as her private life has brought forward an influx of paparazzi and other unwanted intrusions.

Aside from her relationship with the film and television star, Lydia Loudon is also known for her work with the L3 Foundation. The aspiring journalist founded the non-profit organization with the aim of educating, informing, and empowering Millennials on how to turn America’s future around.
