Will Proctor is an alumnus of Clemson University where he played college football for a number of seasons. He is a former starting quarterback for the Clemson Tigers and later for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). After his collegiate football career, he took a major break from the field to try his hands on other things. Will is currently the vice president and wealth adviser for Neuberger Berman Wealth Management.

Will Proctor’s Biography

He was born to Rick and Karen Proctor on November 3, 1983, in Winter Park, Florida as William Franklin Proctor II. He attended Winter Park Trinity Preparatory School where he graduated from in 2002. He was athletically inclined and involved himself in a host of sports while growing up. Will Proctor began playing football while he was in high school and played basketball as well as set the school’s record for the high jump. He was named co-MVP of the basketball team for one season.

But football was his thing and he excelled at it during his high school days. He made it as the PrepStar All-American as well as an All-State. The All-Central Florida and All-County were not left out in the list. That was not all, he was also the team’s MVP both in his junior and senior years. What a record.

Apart from all these recognitions, during his high school career, he threw for 4,082 yards, and 44 touchdowns, with only 13 interceptions, as well as rushed for 2,853 yards and 41 touchdowns.

Will Proctor is a retired pro football player, an actor and a wealth adviser.

Will’s football career did not end with his graduation from high school. He gained more prominence for his days in the Clemson Tigers as a starting quarterback in the Atlantic Coast Conference in NCAADivision I-A.

He played three seasons of college football from 2004 to 2006 and according to , he did not play in his freshman year. The former quarterback appeared in a total of 20 games with 2006 season hosting his highest appearance with 13 games.

During the 2003 season, he saw the field in four games at wide receiver as a third-string quarterback. He recorded 232 yards of total offense in his first start, against the Duke Blue Devils in the 2005 season. Will was a backup until the 2006-2007 season and completed 60% of passing in the 2006-2007 regular season.

The Winter Park, Florida native went north of the border after graduation and played for CFL. In the 2007 season, he played as a backup quarterback for the Montreal Alouettes and was released in the next pre-season after which he was signed by the Calgary Stampeders in October 2008.

After his short stay with the CFL, the 6’3″ player retired from football in 2009.

He has received credits as an actor known for ESPN College Football Thursday Primetime (1997), Gay Propaganda (2002), and 2006 Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl (2006).

With a degree in management and finance, he served in marketing and client services for Glaxis Capital Management in Sarasota, Florida. A position which was created for him at Neuberger Berman Wealth Management where he has been since 2012.

was previously married to her college sweetheart, Kevin McKinney from April 2005 to 2009. Reports had it that she filed for a divorce from her husband following his infidelity. Three years after her split from her first husband, she gave love a chance again when she got married to Will Proctor.

They tied the knot in Will’s hometown at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Winter Park, Florida on October 13, 2012.

 

The twosome became proud parents of their daughter, Hayden Dubose Proctor in November of 2015. Ainsley was pregnant with their child when she was writing her book and would later dedicate it to her baby girl. The book which features illustrations by Jamie Kim is titled Take Heart My Child: A Mother’s Dream. 

The loving parents have a wonderful schedule for taking care of their daughter. While Ainsley works in the morning, Will takes care of the baby during those hours she will be gone for work. However, she takes over in the afternoon when Will goes off to his work. What dedicated parents they are.

Five years down the lane of their union, they are going stronger and falling in love with each other all over again.
