Haviland Morris was born on the 14th day of September in the year 1959. Owing to the nature of her father’s job, the family relocated to Hong Kong at some point. She spent most of her formative years there but she eventually returned to the United States during her early teenage years.
For her college education, she originally enrolled in the Theater Arts program at Northwestern University. However, she ultimately transferred to Purchase College in New York and she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting. Her career as a fulltime actress lasted between 1984 and 2014. She is now a licensed real estate agent though she still takes on a few acting roles.

Haviland Morris officially began her showbiz career during her teenage years. Her first professional acting role was in the romance movie Reckless (1984) after which she appeared in the comedy flick Sixteen Candles (1984). Her next big screen role was in the comedy film Who’s That Girl (1987) starring alongside pop star Madonna.
All through the 90s, she appeared in various movies particularly of the comedy genre and they include A Shock to the System (1990), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) and Home Alone 3 (1997). The talented actress also had a minor role in the highly successful sci-fi movie The Fifth Element (1997).

(2011), Jack & Diane (2012), Nous York (2012), Nor’easter (2012) and Burning Blue (2013).
Haviland’s television credits have also been as impressive as her film credits. In the 1980s and 1990s, she made guest appearances on different TV shows including Family Ties (1986), Tales from the Darkside (1988), American Playhouse (1989-90), Law & Order (1990), Diagnosis: Murder (1994), Cosby (1998), Sex and the City (1998), Homicide: Life on the Street (1999) and Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001).
Her first major television role was in the long-running soap opera One Life to Live (2001-03) starring as series regular Claire Baxter. This remains her only regular television role to date. She went ahead to guest star on different TV series like Third Watch (2002-03), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2003), Army Wives (2009), As the World Turns (2010), The Good Wife (2012) and Blue Bloods (2014).
Haviland Morris has not had too many acting credits in recent times as she has moved on to an entirely different career.
