Farrah Fawcett was a popular actress who was best known for her role as Jill Monroe on the TV series “Charlie’s Angels”. Farrah was a beauty in her days and had been in and out of relationships. She was born on February 2, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas, as Ferrah Leni Fawcett. An actress, model, and artist, Farrah is the second daughter of Pauline Alice Fawcett who was a homemaker and James William Fawcett who was an oil field contractor.

She started her early education at the Parish School of the St Patricks Roman Catholic Church in Corpus Christi which she and her parents attended, then she attended John J Pershing Middle School in Houston Texas. Fawcett went further to study at W.B Ray High School in Corpus Christi where she was voted most beautiful student by her classmates in freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years of high school.

Farrah Fawcett became famous when she posed for her iconic red bathing suit poster which became the best selling pin-up poster in history, selling 12 million copies. She started her acting career by appearing in movies like Logan’s Run, Sunburn, and Saturn.  She was a 4-time Emmy Award nominee and 5-time Golden Globe Award nominee.

The lady of many talents starred as a private investigator named Jill Munroe in the first season of the TV series Charlies Angels and has appeared in other television series like Harry O, The Six Million Dollar Man and so many more and has also appeared in commercials, shows and guest roles on TV.

Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 which she began taking treatments for including chemotherapy and surgery. After undergoing surgery, she was said to be recovering but in May 2007, she experienced a recurrence of the ailment and this time she was diagnosed with stage IV cancer. She died in 2009 at age 62 from anal cancer at Saint John’s Health Centre in Santa Monica, California. A private funeral was held in Los Angeles on June 30, 2009, and she was interred at the Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

Lee Majors

Fawcett dated Lee Majors in the late 1960’s and they got married in 1973 but later separated in 1979. They had no children during the course of their relationship.

Ryan O’ Neal

Farrah Fawcett was romantically involved with actor Ryan O’ Neal. They dated for a quite number of years (15 years) and later broke up. Their relationship produced a son named Redmond James Fawcett O’ Neal who was born in 1985. Ryan and Farrah had been in and out of their relationship after their break up.

On June 22, 2009, it was reported in the Los Angeles Times and Reuters that actor Ryan O’ Neal and Fawcett had agreed to get married as soon as she was strong enough from her illness but unfortunately Farrah died before they could plan a wedding.

James Orr

Canadian filmmaker, James Orr was in a relationship with Farrah Fawcett. He was the writer and producer of Man of the House which Fawcett starred in alongside Chevy Chase and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. James Orr was said to have beaten Fawcett in the course of their relationship and this led to their breakup. Orr was arrested, charged and later convicted of beating Fawcett in 1998.

Steve Bing

In 1997, Farrah and Steve Bing a real estate tycoon were said to be dating. According to information gathered, Bing was close to buying Farrah Fawcett a mansion and asking her to marry him.

Arpad Busson

Arpad Busson and Farrah dated for a short period of time from July to August 1982.

Mark Burg

Mark Burg was Farrah’s agent and it was reportedly said that Farrah had dated her agent from 1999 to 2000.

Jeff Bridges

It was also rumored that Farrah and Jeff Bridges had a fling in 1977 while making the movie “Somebody Killed Her Husband.”
