The beautiful British celebrity, Gael Anderson was born sometime in 1970 to Ian Anderson and Shona Anderson in the United Kingdom. She is British and of Caucasian ethnicity. Gael was raised with her brother James Duncan Anderson who grew to become a musician, taking after their father.

For school, Gael attended Downe House School, a selective independent girls’ day and boarding school located in Cold Ash, a village near Newbury, Berkshire, a non-metropolitan county in South East England. Other than this, there have not been any mention of what university she attended and the course she studied therein.

In her career, Anderson is mostly known for working as a crew member in films. Her acting career began with her debut in a brief role in the 1972 film Gone Up North for a While. Three years later, this was followed by another casting of Gael Anderson as the character of Elizabeth in a drama film titled Landfall. She added yet another film credit to her portfolio, starring as a policewoman in a television movie titled The God Boy. The movie was based on the novel written by Ian Cross with the same title. Gael seemed to have gone under the radar with her acting career or probably pursued other life interests aside acting until the new millennium. She then starred as a floor runner in Teachers, a comedy-drama series which aired at the time on Channel 4.

She was born to a musician/singer/songwriter dad Ian Anderson by his second wife Shona Learoyd who is a homemaker. As earlier stated, Gael’s brother James Duncan Anderson took after their father as a musician, he plays in his father’s band Jethro Tull and in addition, he is also a founding member of Hole Agency, an organization that represents various artists.

Gael Anderson is a married woman, she first met her husband while on Teachers as a floor runner who was distributing tea to the crew members. Her husband Andrew Lincoln was visiting as a guest director in one of the episodes when their path crossed, Lincoln was reportedly love-struck and perhaps impressed her well enough. They soon became friends and in no time, it blossomed into a dating relationship which led to the altar after a 4-year-long journey. The two were joined as husband and wife on the 10th of June 2006 and have grown together to be parents of two children. Their first child was born a year after their marriage, a baby girl named Matilda Clutterbuck and 3 years later, her younger brother Arthur Clutterbuck came in 2010.

Gael and Andrew have remained together since over a decade in what has become a great feat to achieve in a time where celebrity divorces are ubiquitous in our society. The duo has proven repeatedly that they are parents with an exception in the way they conduct their family affairs. Notably, they declined to bring their kids into the spotlight of their careers in a bid to give them a normal life like every other person who is not a celebrity.
