British actor, Alex Lawther continues to establish himself as a reputable name in the British film industry while also spreading his tentacles into America’s Hollywood. The talented actor began his career on stage before making his way to the screen. In his feature film debut, he played the role of the young Alan Turing in the historical film The Imitation Game and his performance earned him much critical acclaim. The actor was born Alexander Jonathan Lawther on the 4th of May 1995. He was born and raised in Petersfield, a market town in the East Hampshire district of Hampshire, England. As a young child, he often had to create his own games and keep himself entertained and this sparked his interest in acting.
