Annabelle Comes Home is the much-anticipated 2019 Hollywood horror film which was released only recently and has already started making waves around the world. For those who love the thrill and seek to draw out fear for the purpose of entertainment, Annabelle Comes Home is sure to satisfy your expectations and fantasy of a horror film. The supernatural flick acts as the 7th installment from the Conjuring Universe series and a sequel to the previous two Annabelle films, Annabelle (2014) and Annabelle: Creation (2017).
What Is The Annabelle Comes Home Film All About?
Like the previous versions of the Annabelle series, the latest part of the supernatural horror film is inspired by the story of a doll called Annabelle as narrated by the paranormal investigators and married couple Lorraine and Edward Warren, both are now late.
In 1968, paranormal investigators Lorraine and Edward Warren were informed of a strange behavior exhibited by a doll. Student nurses Camilla and Debbie contacted the demonologists after they came to the conclusion that their doll was possessed by a supernatural spirit. Edward acquired the doll from the roommates and on his way home, Annabelle conjures demonic forces to attack Edward while driving. Edward manages to evade and survive the attacks and gets home. He and his wife then put Annabelle in a sacred glass case and locks it away in their artifact room blessed by father Gordon, so as to prevent evil forces from getting out.
After successfully containing Annabelle for four years, the doll is set free when Lorraine and Edward Warren are out overnight on a trip to hunt down a demonic force. The couple leaves their daughter Judy Warren in the hands of her babysitter Mary Ellen. Mary’s friend Daniela Rios comes visiting Mary at Warren’s house without notice and her curiosity for wanting to speak to the dead since her dad died, leads her to wander into Warren’s artifact room and she stumbles on the glass case in which Annabelle is kept. She opens the glass case, unaware of the danger she has conjured into the world.
Now, the girls must find a way to return Annabelle back into the glass case so as to undo the evil the possessed doll has let loose since it was freed.
