News Update And Release Date

Avengers 4: Endgame, which was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, has April 26, 2019, as its release date. The movie is expected to be longer than the average MCU movie especially since there are a lot of loose ends to tie. The length of the movie has been confirmed to be 3 hours and 2 minutes long. At that length, it would be the longest film ever from Marvel Studio, breaking the Avengers: Infinity War record that ran for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Avengers 4 (Endgame) was initially scheduled to be released on May 3, 2019, but it has been rescheduled for an earlier release in April much to the delight of fans who cannot wait to see how Marvel intends to conclude this epic chapter.

With a movie like this, the rumors are rampant. One of the most prominent rumors is that a key character – Hawkeye, will evolve into ‘Ronin’ in this film. The rumor arose following set photos tweeted by Marvel showing Jeremy Renner covering his costume in a trench coat, but wearing gold and black boots matching those of Ronin.

Considering Marvel’s reputation for secrecy, there have been a suspicious number of leaks surrounding Avengers 4: Endgame. A good number of people feel it is not unreasonable to believe that Marvel leaked fake spoilers to prevent actual spoilers from being leaked. There have been paparazzi set photos, casting calls, star interview slip-ups, and social media reveals. Considering this would not be the first time the Russo brothers would use misdirects, none of these theories and rumors might end up being true. They did this with the Infinity War trailer, so we have to accept that this is a possibility, hard as it might be.

Avengers 4 Rumors

  • Time Travel

There are also speculations that time travel may be adopted in Avengers 4. Most of the speculations are based on leaked photos that show many of the original Avengers in costumes that are exactly like the ones they wore in 2012 film – The Avengers. The speculations are that the team will travel back to the Battle of New York. One has to admit, however, that time travel is usually hard to pull off and complicates the continuity of the plot. There are more satisfying ways of concluding the fight against Thanos, ways that will not leave the audience feeling a bit confused and cheated. The leaked photos from Marvel might just be another ploy to distract us from their actual plan.

  • Tony Stark And Pepper Potts Baby

Tony Stark and Pepper Potts are rumored to have a baby in Avengers 4 (Endgame). Gwyneth Paltrow, in an interview, mentioned that the couple had “started a family”. Most Marvel fans don’t know whether to believe this rumor, however, anything is possible.

  • Wakanda Scenes

Reshoots for Avengers 4: Endgame will include more scenes in Wakanda much to the delight of fans. The producers might have just decided to capitalize on the success of  and considering the vital role the country played in Infinity War, this is honestly not a surprise.

  • Time Jump

One of the most popular theories is that Avengers 4 (Endgame) is going to involve a time jump. This has not been confirmed, of course, but there are a lot of clues that point towards it; there are leaked photos of with grey hair, the rumor about Pepper and Tony’s kid, and casting of an older actress to play Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang. The time jump would give a more interesting starting point than the immediate aftereffect of the disaster caused by Thanos in Infinity War. It will help fans see how the heroes have been coping.

  • Rift Between Nebula And Thanos

A showdown between Nebula and her adopted father, Thanos, has also been rumored. Nebula has nothing but hatred for her father at this point especially after he sacrificed her sister, Gamora, to restore balance in the universe.

  • Last Of Chris Evans As Captain America

This movie might be the last time will play Captain America. He had extended his contract just so he could be in Avengers 4: Endgame to wrap things up and after his reshoots, he tweeted a goodbye and thanks to the character, cast and whole crew. It is rumored that there might probably be a scene where he has to sacrifice his life for his friends and we can only hope, at the very least, that his exit is not permanent.
