Candace Bailey featured on a lot of shows but gained more prominence after she co-hosted the once popular Attack of the Show on the now-defunct G4 TV channel. Candace Kaye Bailey was born on May 20, 1982, in Birmingham, Alabama. When she was two, her family relocated to Florida. She attended Gulf Breeze High School after which she proceeded to Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Growing up, Candace Bailey was full of life and was enthused about exploring. She had taken interest in modeling and joined a New York City modeling company when she was 12.

She also tested waters in gymnastics and even competed in the Junior Olympics. Candace Bailey’s career started when she was 17. She made her debut on the drama series, The Sopranos where she portrayed the character of Deena Hauser on the ninth episode – Boca. In 2003, Bailey hosted Slime Time Live and also co-hosted Super Bowl XXXVIII pre-game show, all on Nickelodeon.

She hosted U-Pick Live until 2005. The following year she made her first appearance as a regular character on a TV series on the CBS series Jericho where she played the character of Skylar Stevens. Candace was on the show from 2006 to 2008. She then made an appearance in the music video, Goodnight Goodnight by Maroon 5, still in 2008. Candace Bailey also starred in an episode of Ghost Whisperer in 2010.

Bailey was in talks with the producers of Attack of the Show on G4 and before the beginning of the year 2011, got a slot to co-host the show alongside Kevin Pereira. Even after Kevin’s exit in May 2012, Candace remained on the show until January 2013 when the final episode aired. Reports had it that the show was to be canceled as a result of poor ratings. Backing up these reports was G4’s announcement that it would not be renewed for some branding reasons. Indeed, the final episode of the show was aired on January 23, 2013.
