Ruby Rose Langenheim was born in Melbourne, Australia on the 20th of March 1986. The name of her mother is Katia Langenheim and she is an artist by profession. So far, Ruby hasn’t revealed much about her birth father and as such information about him is unknown. Nevertheless, she described her mother as her role model and the source of her motivation.

As a kid, Ruby was raised in different places because her mother travelled a lot. Some of the places she grew up in include; Surfers Paradise, Tasmania and rural Victoria before finally settling in Melbourne. For her education, Ruby Rose was a student at University High School. After leaving high school, she gained admission into the Footscray City College where she successfully graduated in the course of time.

Career

Ruby Rose began her career as a model in the year 2002. At this time she entered into a modelling competition against over 2000 ladies for the ‘Girlfriend’ model search. In the end, she placed second while Catherine McNeil Emerged winner. The opportunity fortunately led her to become the face of the American makeup brand popularly known as “Maybelline.” She also became a VJ for MTV Australia after emerging winner over thousands of contenders who sought the same opportunity.

As a talented lady, Ruby tried her hands on acting of which she started out as a part of the cast of the television series, Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation.
