When you talk about people who were born to do what they do, Emma Fuhrmann fits the bill. She started out early at a year and six months old. Fuhrmann is an actress most famous for her roles as Finnegan O’Neil in the 2012 movie, The Magic of Belle Isle, alongside veterans, Morgan Freeman and Virginia Madsen. Her role as Espn Friedman in the 2014 movie, Blended, was also very outstanding. She acted alongside other Hollywood greats such as and . Most recently, it is speculated that she would be in the cast for the final installment of Marvel Studios’ Avengers series, Avengers: Endgame, as Cassie Lang.

Emma Fuhrmann’s Biography & Age

Emma Fuhrmann was born on September 15, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. Her passion to help indigent people in the society started at a very young age. As part of her contributions and support towards people with uncommon disabilities, the Alzheimer’s Association put her on their Celebrity Champions list in 2011. She has been on that list ever since and has been strongly supporting the Alzheimer’s Association. Fuhrmann also strongly supports a California-based sanctuary for abused animals known as The Gentle Barn and The Humane Society of the United States of America.

Her philanthropic nature has moved her to always give back to the communities where she shoots her movies. While on location for The Magic of Belle Isle, she lent her support to the Food Pantry in Greenwood Lake, New York. Emma Fuhrmann also made some donations to Grace Help Centre, an orphanage home in Rustenburg, South Africa. This orphanage was very close to where Blended was shot.

She does charity work at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where she helps to take care of cancer patients. Away from acting and philanthropy, she is very athletic and sporty. She swims with a swim team in the summer and goes skiing the slopes in the winter.

The actress also has a passion for fashion and clothes designing. She even dreams of having her own clothing line in the future. As part of her action plan to actualize this, in July 2013, she worked alongside Drew Barrymore in her makeup and fashion outfit, Flower Beauty, helping her promote her teenage makeup line.

Her Acting Career

Emma got to the spotlight early in life when she was signed by Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas as a model at just 18 months old. During her time at the agency, she was used for print campaigns by top brands such as AAFES, Belk, Dillards, JCPenney, Neiman Marcus, T-Mobile, and many other brands.

She had her first acting audition at age 5 and nailed it. The audition was for the Dallas Morning News Commercial. After that commercial, Emma Fuhrmann did other commercials for Heart to Heart Dolls, Subway, The Great Wolf Lodge and TXU Energy.

From doing commercials, she moved into TV series. Fuhrmann played the role of Sissy Peele in the pilot episode of Chase, the NBC/BRUCKHEIMER TV drama. The next movie she featured in, Are We Listening, got her a Gideon Film Festival Award as Best Actress. This was quickly followed by her role as Amanda Patterson, the only witness to the murder of her parents, in an episode of NBC’s Prime Suspect.

The big move for her came when she was lined up with and Virginia Madsen in The Magic of Belle Isle. This preceded another movie that got her lead role and an award nomination, Blended. She has also acted in movies like Lost in the Sun (2015).

 

Her Parents and Siblings

Emma Fuhrmann is the only daughter of Ken and Amy Fuhrmann. When Ken and Amy got separated, Emma lived and grew up with her mom and little brother, Nick – and her dog, Kirby Jane.

She has been touted to be related to , the former LAPD detective, famous for the huge role he played in the investigation of the murders of and Ron Goldman in the famous murder case. However, she said that though she has an Uncle that goes by the name, Mark, she isn’t related to the former detective. She further clarified that she has an extra ‘n’ that differentiates her surname from Mark’s.

Tracing her maternal and paternal lineage, she is multi-ethnic German, English, Luxembourgish, and Irish.
