Jojo Rabbit had its first showing on September 8, 2019, at the International Film Festival held in Toronto Canada. The comedy film is scheduled to be screened at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, on September 19, 2019. Jojo Rabbit’s final port of call before it is released will be at the San Diego International Film Festival scheduled to hold in San Diego, California, after which it will be released commercially on October 18, 2019.

2. Awards and Recognitions

Despite the fact that Jojo Rabbit is not yet officially released, the film is gaining quite a lot of traction and momentum in the entertainment scene globally. The film which was screened at the 44th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival was awarded the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the event. Elsa Korr, the young girl of Jewish descent that was hidden by Rosie, was played by Thomasin McKenzie. The film director and co-producer, , portrayed the Adolf Hitler character. Other actors in the film include who starred as Captain Klenzendorf, as Fraulein Rahm, Alfie Allen who featured as Captain Klenzendorf’s lieutenant and who played the character of Captain Deertz.
