Jojo Rabbit emerged from the production desk of Fox Searchlight Pictures and three other film production companies in what was seen as a joint collaboration. The black humor movie went on to star quite a number of notable Hollywood stars such as Roman Griffin Davis, Rebel Wilson, Sam Rockwell, Waititi, Scarlett Johansson, and Thomasin McKenzie.

1. Release Timeline

Jojo Rabbit had its first showing on September 8, 2019, at the International Film Festival held in Toronto Canada. The comedy film is scheduled to be screened at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, on September 19, 2019. Jojo Rabbit’s final port of call before it is released will be at the San Diego International Film Festival scheduled to hold in San Diego, California, after which it will be released commercially on October 18, 2019.

2. Awards and Recognitions

Despite the fact that Jojo Rabbit is not yet officially released, the film is gaining quite a lot of traction and momentum in the entertainment scene globally. The film which was screened at the 44th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival was awarded the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the event. Many who are already acquainted with Jojo Rabbit may be entirely familiar with the various actors and actresses that featured in the 2019 film. We have already mentioned Roman Griffin Davis earlier and the role he played. Jojo’s anti-Nazi mother, Rosie Betzler, was portrayed by Scarlett Johansson.

Elsa Korr, the young girl of Jewish descent that was hidden by Rosie, was played by Thomasin McKenzie. The film director and co-producer, , portrayed the Adolf Hitler character. Other actors in the film include who starred as Captain Klenzendorf, as Fraulein Rahm, Alfie Allen who featured as Captain Klenzendorf’s lieutenant and who played the character of Captain Deertz.

The production of the widely acclaimed film was done by select teams from four different production companies. The collaboration was done to ensure that proper work and the right expertise be brought to bear in the film’s production.
