Josiphene Marie Canseco was born on November 5, 1996, in Weston Florida, the USA as an only child of the famous duo Jose Canseco and Jessica Sekley.

Her father Jose was born in Havana, Cuba with his twin brother, Ozzie who is also a former major league player on July 2, 1964. He was a Major League Baseball (MLB) outfielder and designated hitter who established himself as one of the premier hitters in the game during his time with the Oakland A’s. He also competed in boxing and mixed martial arts after his baseball career.

Josie’s mom, Jessica was born on December 4, 1972, in Ashland, Ohio. She was married to Jose from 1996 to 1999 when their marriage, unfortunately, ended in a divorce. She later remarried on June 23, 2007, to a television personality and plastic surgeon, Garth Fisher but also had a divorce in 2011. Jessica authored her autobiography, Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife where she documented her married life with Jose. She released the book in 2005, the same year her former husband released his memoir, Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big.

Growing up, the model must have become enamored by her mother’s modeling and television career that she chose to take the same path. Her mother was former Playboy model who was named Miss September 2005. Josie debuted on television on the America reality series, Hollywood Exes alongside her mother when she was 16.
