The American actress, Katy Colloton was born in Chicago, the United States on the 11th day of October 1984. She was, in turn, raised an only child by her parents, Patrick and Pat Colloton in Leawood, Kansas, the United States. Her father worked in life insurance while her mother served as a Kansas state representative from 2004 until 2013. She now works as a director of the anti-human trafficking unit for the Office of Kansas Attorney General.

Colloton completed her high school education at Blue Valley North High School in 2001. She then went to Vanderbilt University’ College of Arts and Science, Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated a few years later with a BA in theater and psychology, following in the steps of her mother who obtained a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin.
