Since then, Koine has spent practically every day of her life engaged in some type of dance. After finishing high school, she attended the Somerset Academy Arts Conservatory. From the moment she began watching So You Think You Can Dance when she was 8, Koine nursed a strong desire to appear on the show. She spent her time training and waiting for the moment when she was old enough to be on the show. Her dreams came through when she auditioned at 19, wowing the judges with her abilities and making it into the house as part of the cast for the series. She starred in season 14 of the series and quickly became a fan favorite on the show. Unfortunately, Koine didn’t win, but she came in second place behind Lex Ishimoto.
