In the bid to practice what she was taught at school, Miranda joined Southport Dramatic Club and took on small roles in plays like Cinderella and Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime. She then got a job as the Assistant Stage Manager of Manchester Library Theatre and made a series of stage appearances. For the play, A Lie of the Mind she was nominated for an Olivier Award. She continued to get roles in many other plays and performed on various stages across England but she was last seen in Grasses of a thousand colors which was performed at the Royal Court Theatre in May 2009.
