The Canadian beauty, fashion model, and actress, Missy Peregrym has had an amazing journey in Hollywood. She began acting in her late teens and had her major screen breakthrough in 2006 with the movie Stick It where she played the lead role as Helen Graham.

Award-winning actress Missy Peregym was born in the populous city of Montreal, Quebec in Canada on June 16, 1982, but spent most of her growing-up days in British Columbia. She was born to a cleric father Rev. Darrell and a housewife Vanessa Peregrym and she grew up with two sisters, whose identities are unknown. She has said during interviews that she would describe herself as a tomboy while growing up, this would make anyone would wonder why that was the case since she never had male siblings.

Peregrym attended the Fleetwood Park Secondary School for her high school education and later went to Aurora College where she graduated from in 2004. As a youth, she had a keen interest in sports and loved watching and participating in basketball and soccer games in addition to snowboarding which she also a huge fan and player of.

By 2000, the self-acclaimed tomboy picked fashion as a profession. She began working with the LizBell agency which encouraged her to get involved with commercials.
