The child star was born Navier Ziraili Robinson on May 4, 2005, in Marietta, Georgia. Navia is multi-faceted talent, and even though her sights seem set on conquering the movie industry, this has not affected her academic pursuits. She attends Johnson Ferry Christian Academy where she is an honor student.

Navia’s talent may have come somewhat naturally, nevertheless, she has honed it to near perfection, thanks to the various acting schools and workshops she has participated in. She has done most of her training in Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Navia Robinson was on a national talent competition stage for the first time in 2011. This was at the Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ “Shine Event” that took place in Orlando, Florida. In this event, she finished in the top ten in the categories of acting, fashion modeling, singing solo, and singing troupe. She ended the competition by bagging the award for Overall Top Child Model. Following her success here, the young star was signed on by Generation Model Management of New York.

Navier Ziraili has worked for some of the biggest companies and fashion houses across the country. She has appeared in national commercials for the likes of In Touch Ministries, Smithfield Foods, Inc., AT&T, Synovus Bank, and Golden Corral Restaurants. She has also strutted the runway for emerging fashion icon Jason Christopher Peters. In 2015, Navia participated in a two-week intensive boot camp organized by Disney in Los Angeles, California.

In 2014, Navia kicked off her acting career when she joined the cast of BET Network’s television series Being Mary Jane. She played the character D’Asia who was the niece to the lead role Mary Jane, who played by Hollywood star actress Gabrielle Union. She played D’Asia for ten episodes between 2014 and 2015.

In 2016, her talent had attracted the attention of ace female rapper . The emcee was looking for someone to star as the young version of herself in her pilot NICKI. The series was a documentation of her life growing up in Queens. Nicki hand-picked Navia for the role.

In 2017, she played the role of a little girl named Janie in the CW series The Vampire Diaries. In the same year, she started work on a Netflix original series Free Rein, where she played the character, Rosie.

Her longest participation so far came with the family comedy series Raven’s Home. She has appeared in over 30 episodes of the series as the character Nia Baxter-Carter.

For her impressive work on the series’ Free Rein and Raven’s Home, Navia Ziraili Robinson was nominated for an NAACP Image Award.

Navia grew up in a loving household. She grew up with her parents, and two siblings, both of them boys. The identity of her family members has been kept under wraps. However, her mother’s real name has been debated by different sources to be either Lisa Butler Robinson or Monique Robinson.

Navia has spoken of the support her family has constantly given her since the inception of her career. In February 2016, she posted a picture of her and her older brother with a caption that professed love for her family.

On Mother’s day 2018, Navia also serenaded her mother on her Instagram, talking about how he wanted to grow up to be like her and on father’s day, she did the same for her father, posting a lovely childhood picture of herself with her father.
