Cote de Pablo revealed that she first left the show because she was not happy with the way her character was handled. With her return, it could as well mean that the character is being handled more positively by the showrunners. From the little we know, her appearance in season 17 of NCIS has something to do with warning Gibbs that his life could be in danger.

Other cast members that would be available for the NCIS season 17 include who will reprise his role of Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and who will continue to play Special Agent Timothy McGee. , , Maria Bello, Brian Dietzen, and Diona Reasonover are also coming back as Special Agent Eleanor Bishop, Special Agent Nickolas Torres, Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane, Dr. Jimmy Palmer, and Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines respectively.

What other things do we know about NCIS Season 17?

There have been fears concerning Mark Harmon’s Gibbs with many wondering if he will return or not. Well, while we can say he is coming back, many are now wondering if he will make it through the season or if this will be his last. However, there are indications that he may still be around for probably a long time. Following his involvement in the show as both a producer and actor, he has made it on the list of the highest-paid actors and so there is hardly any reason why he should leave.
