No Game No Life Season 2 is a highly anticipated season of the Japanese animated adaptation of a popular novel series of the same name. The novel series was illustrated and written by the famous novelist, Thiago Furukawa Lucas who also goes by an alias – Yuu Kamiya, which happens to be his pen name. The novel was published by Media Factory’s imprint, MF Bunko J, in Japan and by Yen Press in North America. So far the novel series featured 10 volumes.
It was also gathered that Madhouse Incorporated, an animation studio based in Japan, announced in 2013 their decision to work on an anime adaptation of No Game No Life. The Sci-Fi animated TV series premiered in 2014 on AT-X television network based in Tokyo, Japan. It was later broadcasted outside Japan by the American based publishing and distributing company, Crunchyroll.
The manga version which was written and Illustrated by both Yuu Kamiya and his wife, Mashiro Hiiragi was published by Media Factory in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment got the license to publish in North America. The manga version boasts of 2 volumes which started running from January 27, 2013. A spinoff manga titled No Game, No Life, Please! ran successfully from May 27, 2015, to November 27, 2017.

Fans and followers of the fantasy series all over are beginning to feel that the possibility of No Game No Life season 2 coming may just be a fantasy after all. However, we know that only five volumes out of the ten volumes of the light novel were translated into the anime and the sixth volume was used to create the movie No Game, No Life: Zero. This leaves four volumes which are quite sufficient enough to produce the second season.

From what was gathered from sources, Madhouse Inc will be the studio in charge of creating the No Game No Life season two. This is expected to renew the confidence in the minds of viewers and to ensure continuity of the storyline. The media house has been tasked with delivering a much better work than the last one.
We also know that there may be little changes here and there in the production crew and of course, in how things were done previously. With all these in place, No Game No Life season 2 is expected to be as interesting as the first season.
